The short version
CleanWatch does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no account and no tracking of any kind. This website uses no cookies and no third party scripts. The one exception is the optional form on the uninstall page, described below, and it is anonymous and entirely voluntary.
Where it runs
CleanWatch runs only on kick.com and its subdomains. It has no access to any other website, and it does nothing on any other tab.
Everything it does to remove ads happens inside your browser. Nothing about what you watch is sent anywhere.
What is stored
Two things, kept in your own browser and nowhere else:
- whether protection is on or off
- counters for how many ads were blocked and roughly how much time that saved
Nothing is synced and nothing is uploaded. Removing the extension removes all of it.
Requests the extension makes
To keep a live stream playing through an ad break, CleanWatch asks Kick's own API for the stream's playback information. That request goes to Kick, using the session your browser already has, exactly as the Kick website itself would.
That is the only request CleanWatch starts. It sends nothing to us and nothing to any third party.
Permissions
Chrome will show you these when you install it. In plain terms, CleanWatch asks for permission to run on kick.com, to block requests to known ad servers, and to remember your preference and counters. It asks for nothing else.
It cannot read your browsing history, your other tabs, your bookmarks or your saved passwords.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no third party scripts. The fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so no request leaves this site while you read it.
Cloudflare, our network provider, processes request metadata including IP addresses in order to route and protect traffic. We keep no access logs of our own.
Uninstall feedback
When you remove the extension, this site opens a page with an optional form asking why. Filling it in is voluntary. Closing the tab sends nothing.
If you do submit it, we store exactly three things:
- the reason you picked, as a fixed code
- your optional free text note
- the time, rounded down to the hour
We do not store:
- your IP address, or any hash or derivative of it
- any request header, including your browser's user agent and language
- cookies, identifiers, session or sequence numbers
The timestamp is rounded to the hour deliberately, so that a stored record cannot be lined up against a second precision entry in a network log. Submissions carry no identifier, which means two records cannot be linked to each other or back to you.
Before your note is written to disk, anything that looks like an email address or a URL is replaced with [removed]. Please do not include personal details anyway.
Feedback is kept for twelve months and then deleted.
Links to KickArchive
When you install CleanWatch, a welcome page on this site opens once. The extension popup links to kickarchive.com, a separate service run by the same developer. Those links carry a campaign parameter so we can tell how many people arrived from the extension. That parameter identifies the extension, not you.
Visiting KickArchive is subject to its own privacy policy.
Not affiliated with Kick
CleanWatch is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Kick.com or its operators.

Using CleanWatch is also covered by our terms of use.
